Boring trip home..

Thursday, March 02, 2006

The fuel price raise with 30 cents this time! It's too expensive to travel with car, my transportation fees is about 30 bucks/day (petrol, tol fees and parking fees).. cannot tahan if this continue, going to take train to work once or twice a week, see if this is work out.

Today is my second day to travel with train indeed. The train is slow, took me 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach office. I travel from Klang Station to KL Sentral, then Monorail from KL Sentral to Bukit Nanas, this cost is around 12 bucks/day, hmm.. does it really worth to trade the time with money in this way? I don't know.

Too boring, take out my camera and shoot.

Shah Alam station, few more stations to reach Klang.

Reflection: a passenger is sleeing..

My house to KL city center is about 45km. My car's fuel consumption is more or less 11km/litter, return trip 90km is equivalent to RM15.70. I took Kesas highway to work, tol fees RM1.50 X 2, return with NKVE, RM4.60 + Shapadu highway in Klang RM0.40 + Parking fee RM5, so total of RM28.70, round up to 30 bucks.

You both live in OUG and work in TPM, the cost should be no more than 6 bucks, come on, 5x lesser than mine.
Hmm.. should I buy a house in KL area?

I think car pooling will be good. If you divide the cost with just one more person. It makes rm15/day with lots of time to spare

once car pooling, then I can't have the flexibility of returning home anytime I like.. someone got to wait for another..
I can accept the oil price rise, but then the gov should have improve the public transport system.
