Four Seasons Restaurant @ Bayswater

Tuesday, May 09, 2006

I'm not been writing for days, life is freaking in London! So, keep it short.

I manage to visit to London city center last weekend, and we have lunch at this restaurant name Four Season, recommended by boo_licious. Thanks boo. It took us a while to found this shop cos I"m not familiar with the place.

Snap some pics before the food is served

Here is the food!
Cantonese Roast Duck, £6+ per portion

Char Siu Rice £5+

Siu Yoke Rice £5+

BBQ Mixed Rice £5+

It's nice overall, my only complain is the rice, it's too soft and wet. Four Seasons is one of the famous Chinese Restaurant in London City. I reckon there is another famous Chinese Restaurant in the same area, will pay a visit if I have chance.

Eat in a pub

Thursday, May 04, 2006

Friend was asking if I have a post today.. I have nothing to show seriously.. haven't have time to visit around. Well, I did go to London city center yesterday, it was a rush, didn't take any photos at all.

Just to post something to show you how poor am I here, to keep this blog alive. My office is located in a center of no way. The nearest shop lots is 20 minutes walking distant; nearest train station is 20 minutes of walking distant and 25 minutes from home to office every trip.

I've very limited choice of food unless walk to the shop lots. There is a pub and a cafe next to the office building, that's about it. The cafe open late morning and close early evening. The pub has less than 10 main courses choose from, can almost try all the items in a weeks time time.

Had my dinner in the pub, ordered the Gourmet Burger, the first item in the main courses menu.

Burger with chips and salad (£5.25)

It's quite a big serving. I'm not sure what meat was that. It taste like beef, or it could be a mixture of beef and chicken. Unlike steak burger, this is make of minced meat with herbs. It juicy and taste fine. How nice if the same burger is selling at RM5.25 in KL..

What's next?

Monday, May 01, 2006

I've have been writing for 2 months and I'm really happy to blog on the food I ate. However I must stop blogging on Malaysian foods for a while due to assignment in London. I shall be there for next 2 months. Not sure what can I post during the time in London, but certainly I don't want to close this blog, just don't know what would happen next..

Counting down.. few more hours to go London.

Promotional Dim Sum at Tai Thong Klang

Tai Thong is having a promotionfor Dim Sum. Diner who dine in during Saturday 11:30am ~ 2:30pm get to order the dim sum for RM1.95 per basket.

Tai Thong Klang used to my favourite dim sum place in Klang, that promotion is a good news to me. I tried it on Saturday, but disappointed.. I guess due to promotional price, they drop that quality, even the prawn in Ha Kau is tasteless. I'll ban Dim Sum in Tai Thong Klang for now on.

This is a very short post, I don't want to say anything about this.
