Day trip to Brugge
Monday, June 19, 2006
Joined a day trip to Brugge (Bruges) in Belgium. Brugge is one of Europe's most appealing and picturesque cities, described as the "Venice of the North". Brugge boasts a labyrinth of canals which dissect the medieval splendor of the buildings. Brugge has classified as a World Heritage City, it need to preserve the outlook as much as it is.
It was a tiring trip, but I think it's worth, cost me £39 only.

Visited Stonehenge last weekend. Stonehenge is a World Heritage Site, probably the most outstanding prehistory monument in British. Scientists has prove Stonehenge was build over 5000 years ago. There are always debate on the purpose, some scientist relate the Stongehenge to outer space; some believe that was a temple made for worship of ancient earth dities. No one ever know, however, we sure that it is for some important purposes as Stonehenge was build in 3 phases spanning 2000 years!
Stonehenge is surely Britain's greatest national icon, represent mystery, power and endurance.
Stonehenge has been shortlisted as one of the new 7 wonders of the world. Read more description on Stonehenge in wikipedia.
London summer
Monday, June 12, 2006
Last weekend was hot, the hot summer weather has arrived to London finally. Weather report forecasted 28° Celsius, but I certainly believe the temperature is higher than 28°. The feeling is like returned to Malaysia. Everywhere is green and all flowers from previous post has fallen.
The weather on last weekend was great to enjoy sun bathing. I had a walk to Hyde Park in London city center last Saturday, you can see lot of people are enjoying the sunlight, a lot of bikini babes too. :p
Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park is joining together and right opposite of Green Park and St James’s Park, all these form the largest park in London City center. More photos taken in Hyde Park:
People are soaking their legs in the fountain. It's refreshing.
She keep tumbling on the park
I was at the Oxford Street in the same day and witness The World Naked Bike Ride by chance. There are hundreds of naked guys and girls riding bicycle or roller blade on the street. I was shock (or rather syok?) to see this :p
Some are wearing short, undies, bikini and some are completely naked.
Light lunch in Lodon
Wednesday, June 07, 2006
In KL, a normal office worker usually have hawker food or restaurant food for lunch, there are varieties to choose from. Mixed rice, char kuey teow, chee cheong fun, laksa, wan tan mee, pan mee, pork noodle, nasi kandar, nasi lemak, mee goreng, pizza, pasta, McDonald's, KFC, sushi, teppanyaki and many more. Malaysian really enjoy food, it's a food heaven.
When I come to London, I notice most of the office worker eat very light for lunch. The normal lunch are sandwiches (all type of sandwiches, including normal sandwich, wrap sandwich, panini, baguette, roll and etc). Among different type of sandwiches, there a lot of different in term of fillings: beef, chicken, lamb, pork, ham, fish, vegetables. I can't really accept the truth of a big English man is eating only sandwich for lunch when I first come across!? I've accepted now b'cos I'm eating sandwiches for lunch these day. :D
McDonald's and KFC are selling sandwiches too.
Friends asked me what do I eat during lunch, well, I eat sandwich from Subway, McD and local sandwich stores. Sometime I make my own sandwich. These are bagels I make.
