Flash flood hit my car :(
Monday, August 28, 2006
Last friday, KL flash flood again. I'm one of the victim this time. Flooding at the open air car park where I park my car. It's damn shit, look, The water level is up to my dashboard meter level! My colleague's Altis is worse than this.
I don't know how much will this cost me yet, definitely going to hurt my wallet. Can somebody tell me if I can sue the car park management or Mayor of Kuala Lumpur and how?
My New Gadget - Part 2
Thursday, August 24, 2006
You think I'm going to talk about mobile phone in "New Gadget Part 2"? Wrong! I want to show another new toy of mine, a virtual laser keyboard (VKB)!
My boss in London bought me this toy, as a gift for visiting London office. VKB uses both infrared and laser technology, the laser beam project a full size virtual QWERT keyboard and infrared sensor key pressed. Cool right!?
The keyboard size slightly shorter than a mentos fresh mint box, easy to carry.
VKB uses bluetooth to connect to devices, it work with PC, Macintosh, PDA and Smartphones. To me, this is a very cool gadget, but impractical. It does has key press sound when a key is press, but still, why do I need to use this Virtual Keyboard? I can't type as fast (and precise) as a normal keyboard.

My New Gadget - Part 1

I was looking for a phone for months. The criteria for the phone I want:
- 3G (UMTS) (will not compromise)
- Less than 100g in weight (will not compromise)
- Expandable memory card slot (will not compromise)
- Camera (will not compromise)
- MIDP 2.0 (will not compromise)
- MP3 Player (will not compromise)
- FM radio (nice to have)
- Affordable price
After I bought this, then only realize there are no Maxis 3G coverage in Klang yet. What a waste, should have wait for some more time for buying a new phone.
I'm Back!
Monday, August 21, 2006
I've not blog for a month plus, life was kinda busy :(
Whatever, I"m back finallly. I return on Sunday before last, 2 days after the terror plot in London. You know, the security was tight, every passenger need to go thru the hand security search. Can you imagine, I need to queue for 1 hour 45minutes for the security check!
Due to the security rules, I"m basically not allowed to carry any thing extra back, (even notebook PC need to put into suite case for check in!) I can only bring my travel documents (clear plastic bag is provided from airport). So.. no souvenir for you(sound like an excuse huh).
Duty free shopping is allowed except for passenger to USA, hence I only bought 1kg of Belgium chocloates for colleagues and another 1kg for family, that's all. See, how un-creative am I :p
