Greenwich - Part 1
Wednesday, May 10, 2006
I'm damn busy in office, no time for blogging, no time to read blogs, no time to read newspaper, and worse enuff, there is no internet connection at home, otherwise I would able to do my personal after work.
I read MF blog on Greenwich, what an intersting place, so I pay it a visit on last weekend. Greenwich, England has been the home of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) since 1884. GMT is sometimes called Greenwich Meridian Time because it is measured from the Greenwich Meridian Line at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. Greenwich is the place from where all time zones are measured.
The Royal Observatory is located in the Greenwich park
The building in the photo is Queen House
Royal Oservatory
Kuala Lumpur at east Longitude of 101° 42"E
Prime time Meridian of the World
Hang around a the Greenwich suburb, it's a nice place.
a Street in Greenwich
The back street
Greenwich arts and crafts market
A vegetables stall in the crafts market?
OMG, I was amaze when I see this, an Italian nougat stall!
A lot of soft nougat cakes.
A closer look
I bought one piece, cost me £5++
Too sweet to me, it'a good try though
That's it for today... stay tune for part 2 of Greenwich..
